Monique Coleman is an African-American actress best known for being one of the co-stars of the hit Disney Channel Original Movie, High School Musical, in which she plays Gabriella Montez's (Vanessa Anne Hudgens) best friend Taylor. She is part Indian and part Creole. As of August 14th, 2006, she was revealed to be one of the contestants on Season 3 of Dancing with the Stars.
